Happy Easter, Jesus Christ Has Risen.
This was especially fitting for my recent loss, and Heaven's recent gain.
Peter shared his Birthday with Easter this year....We pulled together a quick party....Cake and Grandma's, who needs anything else?
We host fellowship group and bible study every 1st and 3rd Sunday...Our dear friends Carmen
and bill bring these delicious strawberries, often.
This was one giant Strawberry that Peter really savored.
On to the next adventure.....Sometimes it's just to the mailbox but this one was to our next door neighbors, Rick and Claudia. Neighbor Rick is almost like having my dad live next door. He collects tractors, has tons' of grandkids and talks loud and gruff, especially toward his dogs.
Peter is learning to read....He read his first word on April 25th, MOP.
He read his first sentence on April 28th, "Fat Cat Sat on Mat." Music to my ears.
If you have a child that is showing signs, this book is wonderful and fun for the child.
Twenty minutes a day, envelopes and a table and it's ready, set, read.....
