What struck me first upon seeing the massive aircraft carrier was the radio control tower. Without communication they were dead in the water and unable to steer their planes into safety or to be of any service to anyone, including themselves.
Ultimately, isn't this what teaching is about. Equipping our children with a superb ability to communicate with those around them?
